Ricetta Orange Jelly Made From Frozen Concentrated Juice

  • 3 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 bot liquid pectin
  • 3/4 c. frzn orange juice concentrate (1 six-ounce can)


  1. Stir the sugar into the water. Place on high heat and, stirring constantly, bring quickly to a full rolling boil which can't be stirred down. Add in lemon juice. Boil hard for 1 minute.
  2. Remove from heat. Stir in pectin. Add in thawed concentrated orange juice and mix well. Pour jelly immediately into warm, sterile canning jars to 1/4-inch from top. Seal and process 5 min in a boiling water bath.
  3. This recipe yields 4 or possibly 5 half-pint jars.
  4. Yield: 4 or possibly 5 half-pints
