Ricetta Mexican Grilled Swordfish With Tomato Salsa

  • 4 x 10 ounce swordfish, steaks
  • 1/4 c. lime, juice
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp chili pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp dry red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp dry oregano Tomato Salsa
  • 2 x tomato, minced
  • 1 x red onion, minced
  • 1 x chili pepper, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. minced fresh basil, leaves
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon, juice salt, to taste pepper, to taste


  1. Combine lime juice, oil, chili pwdr, warm pepper flakes and oregano. Add in fish to marinade and coat both sides. Chill covered for 1 hour.
  2. Prepare salsa.
  3. Grill fish and baste with marinade. Fish is done when flesh begins to flake.
  4. Serve with tomato salsa on side.
  5. Tomato Salsa:Add in all salsa ingredients and toss. Chill for 2 hrs.
